Top 5 Android File Managers

Top best Android task manager apps.

In Android market we can find a lot of file managers; everyone knows something else, something good or something more. To be in the least bit of confessing, I bring you this article.

Astro File Manager:

For starters, it is the best known and probably most widely used Android app. This is a fairly comprehensive program that provides relatively rich settings. It can set almost everything from the order of icons in the top bar, through the default folder for custom icons for different file types. It also let you adds the complexity of an integrated task manager along with the application administrator. You can also download various compatible plugins for Astro manager. Another advantage is the choice of display; you can either set traditional list or tiles display.

It is also sophisticated working with archives, users face no problem with opening or creating ZIP and are even able to inspect and extract the RAR files. You can examine or scan 7Zip files without extraction. From personal experience I have to say about the archives is not as reliable as AndroiZip. The great disadvantage of Astro is displaying ads. These ads are really annoying at times, and can disturb you during important jobs.

ROOT Explorer:

This program is strongly differs from others in this review, because it is the only paid task manager available in Android market. At the Market you will find it with a price tag 2.5$. The other difference for advanced phone users is the focus on running apps with root privileges.

The advantage is the complete absence of advertising; it provides a very clean and clear environment, and quick access to all important tools. No problem to handle, creation, opening of ZIP files. Among other drawbacks, let us mention for example the impossibility of a network connection (WiFi).

This app actually outweighed many advantages, such as mention the possibility of viewing the SQLite database, or a quick connect / disconnect system partition. you can also views or choose either tiles or classic display list.

No file manager:

It is another well-known file manager by EC file manager application. I must admit that this file manager is really good; it can translate the foreign language documents, send free SMS and block unwanted calls. The only unresolved matter is its quite extensive help, but it's not intuitive for application need.

Overall, this is a really successful application and has a very friendly and nice graphical environment; in addition there is the possibility to choose skins from a database of skins. As another matter of praise is its very fast switching between icons and list views.

The application supports connections to the local network and Bluetooth and has absolutely no problem with the zipper. Despite the fact that it is a free application, does not contain advertising. Ultimately, this application can do a lot of things on one click; in my opinion it is the best application for the novice and normal android phones.

As the name shows, it is the application of highly focused on working with archives. This file manager works perfect and has no problem with opening ZIP, RAR or 7zip files. There is little restriction on extracting 7zip, because it can end up in failure because of too large archive. Among other abilities mention to this task manager is really fast mass zipping.

This ends the pros and cons at beginning, unfortunately those are more. The setting is enough, but does not bring any extra things; there is no connection to the home network (WiFi) and share documents, view only acquainted. The application does include advertising, but unlike the Astra it also do not disturb during work. Overall it is a very good tool for working with archives, but not versatile.

OI File Manager:

The last file manager is really different from above. It is to literally simple. It does not contain any settings, On the other hand, it is the most intuitive and fast tool, also there are no ads.
